Amazingly energetic and driven, R.J. Gipson is the creator of the SUU Pilot Abroad Program. R.J. has been expertly crafting a valuable experience for not only himself, but for his fellow flight students. Originally from Missouri by way of Oregon, he has always had a love of aviation. After successfully completing several search and rescue missions he decided to leave the Coast Guard and become a pilot while pursuing his degree. Now, his hard work has paid off as he has become a CFI, CFII and recent college graduate.
